A light drizzle did not deter a large crowd from attending the annual Blessing of the Animals at Our Lady of the Lake Church on Oct. 4, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
Father Carton blessed pets and their owners during the gathering.
WaggMore Pet Boutique and Sparta Pet Shoppe & Spa donated treats and other goodies for attendees.
